Nate Hanks joined RealSource in 1998. Along with his partner Michael Anderson, CCIM, the duo wanted to bring efficiencies to an inefficient real estate market and to help deliver individual, entrepreneurial real estate investors the same research, relationships and deals institutional investors have access to. His drive and dedication to the individual investor has helped RealSource generate volume that has surpassed $1.5 billion in the last three years from client transactions, debt financing, and in TIC (Tenancy in Common) transaction activity.
Having realized significant gain in his multifamily investments for over 20 years, Nate and Mike partnered to organize RealSource Equity Services in July, 2002. This division is a real estate TIC sponsor. Nate, along with his team, assists clients in identifying, analyzing, and negotiating the acquisition, management and disposition of income-generating investment properties. Under Nate’s direction, RealSource Equity Services has assisted investors acquire over $500 million worth of multifamily properties around the country, representing over 8,000 units.
In helping with the company’s marketing efforts, he helped promote the phrase, “Live where you want, invest where it makes the most sense,” focusing on what differentiates RealSource from its competition: research. RealSource analyzes all 360+ MSAs across the country, analyzing quantitative and qualitative variables and conducting stringent due diligence before opening up a new market to its investor clients. They are also branching into international markets as well.
Nate holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Utah. He is a licensed real estate agent and is proud holder of the CCIM designation, the PhD of commercial real estate.
Nate is married to his lovely wife Michelle. They have 7children. He supports numerous charities on the national and local levels, including the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Enterprise Mentors International. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling.
