The Exeter Group of Companies is currently recruiting for the following positions.

Controller (Immediate Opening in Cheyenne, Wyoming)

The Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on processing, oversight and leadership of the financial, accounting and human resources operations of the company, including, but not limited to, (1) corporate and regulatory financial reporting, analysis, and strategy; (2) regulatory reporting, compliance, and examinations; (3) commercial banking and investments; (4) budgeting and forecasting; (5) taxes; (6) human resources and payroll; (7) limited liability company formations, tracking, and compliance; and (8) working closely with and providing support for the (i) Trust Operations Group; (ii) 1031 Exchange Group; (iii) Title Holding Trust (Land Trust) Group; and (iv) Specialty Holding Escrow Services Groups. You will work with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies that drive growth and optimize financial performance.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal, hands-on role in the development, expansion, growth, and long-term strategic planning for our finance, accounting and human resources operations. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise, experience, and a strong hands-on background in finance, accounting, and human resources in a financial services organization. Experience in a trust company, 1031 exchange, escrow, title insurance or commercial banking is a huge plus.

Transaction Coordinator (Immediate Opening in San Diego, California)

The Transaction Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the seamless onboarding of 1031 Exchange transactions. This role requires a collaborative and detail-oriented professional who can manage the coordination of various elements of the transaction process, including purchase and sale agreements, escrow instructions, and title insurance documents, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, possess strong communication abilities, and have an understanding of real estate transactions and related documents.

Self-Directed IRA Client Services Representative (Immediate Opening in Cheyenne, Wyoming)

The Self-Directed IRA Client Services Representative will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on administration of clients' self-directed individual retirement accounts (IRAs), individual 401(k) plans (Solo-Ks), and non-qualified custody accounts with an emphasis on non-traditional investments or alternative investments. Delivering an exceptional client service experience is an absolute must. The position requires knowledge and experience in the administration of self-directed IRAs, 401(k) plans and non-qualified custody accounts, and the processing and custody of non-traditional investments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, a comprehensive understanding of retirement account regulations, and a minimum of one to two years' experience in the administration of self-directed IRAs, individual 401(k) plans and non-qualified custody accounts, and the processing and custody of non-traditional investments or alternative investments within a trust company environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal, hands-on role in the growth and expansion of our Retirement and Custody Services Group. Experience working with the Accutech Cheetah Trust Accounting System is a huge advantage.

1031 Exchange Assistant/Receptionist (Immediate Opening in Cheyenne, Wyoming)

The 1031 Exchange Assistant/Receptionist position is an entry-level clerical support and client service position in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Candidates must possess excellent client service skills, organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to accurately and efficiently multi-task in a paperless environment. The successful candidate will possess a positive can-do attitude and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, team-focused, and transformational environment with strong attention to details and accuracy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a busy multi-line, multi-company phone system, taking accurate detailed messages and directing the calls to the appropriate staff member for handling with a strong emphasis on customer service. The position is also responsible for supporting the 1031 Exchange Services Group, including data entry to open and maintain accounts on our trust accounting system and client relationship management system. Saving and scanning transactional documents in a paperless environment, setting up follow-up tasks, monitoring and processing incoming and outgoing wire transfers, faxes, mail and e-mails are also part of this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Prior experience in the areas of 1031 exchange, escrow, title insurance, tax, accounting, legal or real estate is a plus, but is not required.

Business Development Officer (Immediate Opening in Texas and Florida)

Responsibilities include intensive client relationship management, strategic sales planning to identify, contact and build new client relationships, educational presentations and travel. Requirements include sales or marketing experience in one of the following fields: 1031 Exchange, tax, legal, escrow services, title insurance or real estate.

Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Superior client relationship-building and consultative sales skills, especially the ability to understand and communicate technical tax and legal subject matters, are an absolute must.

Business Development and Regional Manager positions are available throughout the United States and office location will depend on regional territory assigned. We are actively looking for Business Development Officers for the Seattle, Washington and Tampa, Florida geographic markets.
