As Tweed's in-house property analyst, Michelle oversees all Tenant-in-Common transactions and is responsible for reviewing investment properties available for 1031 exchange.
Her experience allows Tweed to offer clients an unbiased, third-party review of properties and ongoing information on the performance of their investments. Since joining Tweed, Michelle has helped place over $65 million of 1031 exchange equity into TIC programs.
Prior to joining Tweed, Michelle worked as an acquisition officer with Secured California Investments ("SCI") in West Los Angeles, specializing in the identification and negotiation of real estate assets in all asset categories throughout the country.
In 2004 Michelle participated in the successful close of over $290 million in diversified commercial assets as one of three team members. Michelle has also worked as an Investment Specialist with the Major Asset Division of Re/Max Commercial Brokerage in West L.A which she was instrumental in developing in 2002.
During the two years she worked with the Major Asset team, they consistently ranked as top-producer.
Michelle graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the European University in Montreux, Switzerland. She is Series 7 & 63 FINRA licensed and has a California Real Estate license.
