Mr. Hutchins received an undergraduate degree in Social Psychology with additional reading in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara. For the first 20 years of his career, he was the chief designer and project engineer for a small software firm supporting local government agencies throughout California and New York City.
He moved to Bakersfield in 1990, and began pursuing an interest in real estate investment in 1997. He was fortunate to receive 10 years of training in commercial real estate analysis from a respected local commercial real estate broker and CCIM designee. The Smart-Plex project represents the culmination of 30 years combined experience in the fields of strategic information management and commercial real estate.
