Brett L. Davis serves as Senior Vice President and Trust Operations Manager for various companies within The Exeter Group of Companies, including The Exeter Group, LLC and Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC headquartered in San Diego, California, Exeter Trust Company and Exeter Asset Services Corporation headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and their affiliate companies. Mr. Davis is based in The Exeter Group of Companies' Mountain Regional Office located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

As Trust Operations Manager, Brett is responsible for leading the Trust Operations Group and the Retirement and Custody Services Group, that includes the administration of self-directed IRAs and individual 401(k) plans (solo-k's) with an emphasis on non-traditional investments (alternative investments).

A Trust Operations Leader with Fortune 500 Experience

Brett began his professional career with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith in 1991. He then joined the Financial Services Division of Fiserv, Inc. in 1993. He joined Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in 2011 as their Operations Director for the Alternative Investment Operations Division. He joined Pacific Premier Trust in 2021 as Senior Vice President and Director of Securities Operations.

Brett holds a Master of Science degree from Robert Morris University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado State University.

Professional Associations and Interests

Brett's interests include decentralized team leadership and decision-making strategies suited for listed securities and alternative investments. He specializes in tools and programs such as the Recognition Primed Decision Model and has designed team leadership and apprenticeship-style programs for teams and organizations operating in the financial services ecosystem.

He has led and participated in numerous operating committees including serving as chairman of a risk committee and a clearing compliance committee.
