Tara McDowd
Operations Administrator and Notary Public

Tara McDowd is an Operations Administrator and Notary Public with Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC, and its affiliate companies, and is based in our national corporate headquarters office located in San Diego, California.

Tara is responsible for the day-to-day administration of financial services, cash management, financial and regulatory reporting and trust and corporate accounting operations for The Exeter Group of Companies.

She has been in the financial services industry for 21 years.  Prior to joining our team at Exeter, she held the position of Operations Assistant for one year with Diversified Exchange Corporation located in La Jolla, California.  And, prior to Diversified, she held the positions of: an IRA Specialist with California Coast Credit Union, an IRA administrator for The Chicago Trust Company of California, IRA Compliance Specialist with Resources Trust Company, and Operations and Compliance for San Diego Trust and Savings Bank.

Tara is involved with numerous professional organizations including the California Escrow Association (CEA) and the San Diego County Escrow Association (SDCEA) and frequently attends their dinner meetings and annual conferences. 

She is also involved in the community by volunteering for the Literacy Race/Walk and the Senior Community Centers of San Diego.
